1. Introduction

Rapflick (rapflick.com, hereinafter "we" or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: when you sign in, your email address and, with Google sign-in, your name and profile picture; with email sign-in, a hashed password.
• Payment information: payments are processed by our payment provider. We store the order number, the product bought and the amount, never your card number.
• Lyric requests: the topic, details, mood and style you type, and the lyrics written for you. Writing lyrics needs no account; requests are tied to a hashed IP address, and to your account if you are signed in, for fair-use limits, safety and usage statistics.
• Input content for videos: the lyrics and choices of the video you order, and any photo you upload.
• Generated content: the videos you generate with our service.
• Consent record: with each video we store the time you ticked the consent statement, the version of the consent text, your IP address and your browser.
• Moderation logs: the result of each automated content check (passed, declined, withheld) with its reason, and how reports were handled.
• First-touch attribution: the referrer, UTM parameters and landing path of your first visit, written once at sign-up so we know where users come from.

3. Cookies and Analytics

We use a session cookie needed for sign-in and one first-touch attribution cookie (referrer, UTM parameters and landing page, kept for 90 days). We measure visits and page speed with cookie-free, aggregated analytics that do not identify you. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking, so we do not show a cookie banner. You can block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will then not work.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To write the lyrics and generate the videos you request, and to provide, maintain and improve our services.
• To process your transactions and manage your credits.
• To enforce our content rules, apply fair-use limits, handle reports and keep evidence of consent.
• To contact you about your account, a purchase or a content report when that is needed.
• To analyse usage so we can improve the user experience.
• To detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and other illegal activities.

5. Information Sharing

We never sell your personal information and never use your lyrics, photos or videos to train models. We share information only with the following parties:

• AI providers: the service running DeepSeek V4.1 Flash (developed by DeepSeek) receives the topic and choices you type and returns the lyrics. The service running Seedance 2.0 (developed by ByteDance) receives the lyrics, your choices and, if you uploaded one, your photo (through a link that stops working when the photo is deleted after 7 days), and returns the video, which we then copy to our storage. These providers state that they do not train on inputs or outputs, and they keep generation records and results under their own terms, which can be longer than our 7 days.
• Content safety: before each video, the lyrics and instructions are checked by an automated moderation service.
• Infrastructure providers: hosting, database and file storage providers run the site and store your account, uploads and videos.
• Sign-in: Google, if you sign in with Google.
• Payment processors: our payment provider, acting as merchant of record, receives what it needs to take the payment and issue the receipt.
• To comply with legal obligations, court orders or legal processes; child-safety content is reported to the relevant authorities.
• To protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or the public.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, and each receives only what it needs for its job. To find out which providers we currently use, email support@rapflick.com.

6. Lyrics, Photos, Videos and Retention

• Lyric requests: the topics you type are kept for 90 days to improve the generator and watch for abuse, then deleted; the written lyrics are not stored unless you turn them into a video, in which case they are kept with that video. Usage counts without the text are kept longer.
• Photos: uploaded photos are used only to generate your video and are deleted from our storage automatically 7 days after upload.
• Copies held by AI providers: kept under the providers' own terms (see section 5), not by the 7-day rule above.
• Videos: generated videos stay in your account until you delete them or the account is deleted.
• Consent records and moderation logs: retained for 2 years so abuse reports and legal requests can be handled.
• Account and order data: kept until the account is deleted, except financial records we must keep by law.
• Never used for training: your lyrics, photos and videos are never used to train our models or anyone else's.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on applicable laws, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information. You can delete videos at any time from My Creations. To delete your account and the data tied to it, email support@rapflick.com from the address you registered with; we complete deletion within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13, and you must be 18 or older to buy credits or generate videos. If we discover we have collected personal information from a child, we delete it as soon as possible. Minors may not appear in any uploaded photo or be the subject of a diss or roast.

10. Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the service or by email.
